During the read-aloud, we explore social-emotional topics in an age-appropriate way through the story and a short conversation with the children.

Themes include:

• Self-awareness – recognizing and understanding our feelings

• Confidence – believing in ourselves and our abilities

• Bravery – trying new things even when they feel a little scary

 

The story invites children to think about how we grow braver, more confident, and more aware of our feelings through everyday experiences.

 

Creative Activity:
After the story, children participate in a coloring activity inspired by the book, giving them a fun, hands-on way to reflect on the story’s themes.

 

Book Orders & Signed Copies:
Families can pre-order books in advance, and I bring signed and personalized copies to the event. A portion of all pre-order sales can go back to the school, library, or charity hosting the visit.
